Not really birding but a hike today with Mary Gardner through the Pleasant
Valley Preserve in Lyme yielded a number of expected avian denizens such as
Hermit Thrushes and Palm Warblers with the highlights being two adult Bald
Eagles as flyovers headed northeast and two getting late-ish Blackpoll
Warblers in a mixed flock of more timely birds such as G-c Kinglets and
Yellow-rumped Warblers.
