10/30/2009 - Litchfield, White's Woods Rd. (White Memorial Foundation's
Cemetery Pond, 5:20 p.m. 'til dark) - 2 Wilson's Snipe, 1 Rusty Blackbird;
Also, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 315 Canada Geese, 75 Wood Ducks, approximately
5,000 American Robins coming in to roost in the woods and shrubs surrounding
the pond, 110 Red-winged Blackbirds roosting in the phragmites
White Hall Rd. (White Memorial Foundation's Lake Trail) - 2 Brown Creepers;
Also, 1 Pileated Woodpecker, 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 5 Golden-crowned
Kinglets
(Ongley Pond Trail) - 1 Great Blue Heron, 1 Pileated Woodpecker
(Mill Field) - 1 Common Raven, 1 Purple Finch; Also, 550 American Robins, 3
Eastern Bluebirds
(Interpretive Trail) - 1 Pileated Woodpecker
