[CT Birds] Bird Strikes on Windows

I too put up blue painters tape on the sliding doors, but in a grid.  Have 
not had a strike in over a year.  Doesn't look good and everyone has asked 
about it.

I tried a cheapo solution that seems to be working (6+ months). On the side 
of the house where most of my feeders are located I affixed blue painter's 
tape in diagonal strips to the outside of the windows. It's not 
aesthetically pleasing, but the strikes have definitely decreased on the 
worst windows (including large sliders) since the tape went up.
