The monthly meeting of the Hartford Audubon Society will be held on
Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Wood Memorial Library in South Windsor, which
is located on the corner of Main St. and Vibert Rd. The social time
starts at 7:00 pm and the meeting begins at 7:30 pm. Our featured
speaker is Dr. Richard Prum of Yale University, who was recently awarded
a MacArthur Fellowship for his work in avian evolutionary biology. Rick
will be speaking on "Birds as Dinosaurs", a topic which has recently
been in the newspapers on new discoveries in that area. Come and hear
what Rick has to say and learn more about this subject. The meeting is
free and open to the public.
