I birded at Batterson Park Pond from 8:30-10:15am today.

Common Merganser (females and males)
Hooded Merganser (females)
Ruddy Ducks
Great Blue Heron
Common Goldeneye (female)
Bald Eagle (Adult)
Golden-Crowned Kinglet
Downy Woodpecker
Red Bellied Woodpecker

And all the usual robins, bluejays, crows, nuthatches, mallards, ring-billed gulls and titmice.

The Bald Eagle came by at about 10am flying north to south with an escort of angry crows.

I was out there last weekend and saw a yellow-bellied sapsucker and a belted kingfisher.
