[CT Birds] Snowy Egret remains in Stratford

A Snowy Egret was  at Frash Pond this morning, along with a Great  Egret. 
These 2 birds have been in that location for at least the last couple of  
days. 
 
I searched the sandy scrub beach along Short Beach for a Painted  Bunting, 
since they have been reported from North of us, but there was nothing  
stirring other than a lone Mockingbird. This scrub beach looks very similar to  
some beaches in South Carolina where Painted Bunting is sometimes  found as  
a breeder. No doubt the plant species differ, but the general look is the  
same.
