Visting family in Coventry for XMAS, got some good birding in while I was

My brother's and mother's feeders had the usual birds - Downy Woodpeckers,
Blue Jays, BCChickadees, Tufted Titmice, WBNuthatches, Song Sparrow,
DEJuncos, and NCardinals.

also took a walk along Silver St (great open field habitat - had reported
the LeContes from this location over Thanksgiving), down to Love Lane and
back (past the 1/4 mile mark on Silver and along Love Lane is wooded habitat
with some small fields and streams as well).

Northern Harrier - female, hunting over the open fields
Wild Turkey - 4 well out on the corn fields
Ring-billed Gulls - a couple in flight, no big flocks as previously seen
Rock Pigeons

Red-bellied Woodpecker - 2
Downy Woodpecker - 2
Hairy Woodpecker - 1

minute errand as it approached dusk, hundreds of ACrows were in flight from
Manchester westward - there must be a serious roosting spot towards Htfd or

Silver near Rt44

Tufted Titmouse - 6
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
