A raptor-heavy day in South Windsor:

Vibert Road: 1 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK flying north over the treetops on the east side of the river. Also 2 Red-tailed Hawks sharing prey in the west-most corn field along the road.

Station 43: 1 Cooper's Hawk seen repeatedly 50 yards or so in from Main Street. Chased and missed a grackle.

Route 5: 1 RED-SHOULDERED HAWK!!!! First across from Lena's Pizza, then relocated north across from Quality Motors. Very vocal and gorgeous. FYI, both these locations are very close to each other and are approx a mile south of Newberry Road.
