1/4 Birded Ansonia nature center from 11:30AM til about 1PM.
6 Mourning doves, 2 Cardinals (M&F), 25 or so white throated sparrows,
6 Cowbirds, numerous juncos, 2 red bellied woodpeckers, numerous blue
jays, 1 downy woodpecker, 1 white breasted nuthatch, robins, 2 titmouse,
3 chickadees, 1 carolina wren, 1 red tailed hawk soaring, 1 Ring necked
pheasant under the feeders. One sparrow that I couldn't identify since it
flew off quickly, but it had a clear whitish belly area and a black speckled
breast and throat area (possibly a Lincoln's or Swamp).
The ring necked pheasant was a male and very distinctly colored.
