January 9 - Branford:

First ever seen female piliated woodpecker checking out a hollow in a maple tree, one male Eastern Towhee, and one adult red-tailed hawk. Have all the usual suspects - WT sparrows abound, cardinals, chickadees, WB Nuthatches, grackles galore, and several RW blackbirds.
