The weather has been moving birds around as fresh water freezes up and snow covers the food available to ground feeders during the recent cold spell. A Sage Thrasher has just been found at Salisbury State Park in Massachusetts. Surely there are some rarities about that haven't been discovered yet. Bird feeders should be watched carefully for visitors that slip in quietly such as Green-tailed Towhee let's say. Fingers crossed. And of course try to be sensitive to your situation regarding the security nervous public.
