Passing this along.

 From: Jan Hamilton
1/16/10 CT River, South Glastonbury. While on a winter walk along the river at the coal dock site (co-sponsored by CAS and Great Meadows Conservation Trust) approx. 40 participants watched TWO IMMATURE BALD EAGLES flying up and downstream but staying in the area, low over the water, occasionally perching in the trees on the Rocky Hill side. They were harassed by a mob of crows initially, that finally relaxed and left one sentry to chase the eagles. Also, 4-5 COMMON MERGANSERS, 2 mute swans and approx. 20 or so Canada geese on the Rocky Hill bank.
