No luck yesterday hoping the Ivory Gull would be hanging around
eastern CT (a good chance it may still be in Rhode Island, given the
amount of private/inaccessible coastline there).

Several nice consolation prizes though, highlighted by an adult
"BLACK" BRANT (second CT record) at Harkness State Park along with 40
COMMON EIDER and an adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL.

Stonington Pt held several COMMON EIDER and 2 PURPLE SANDPIPERS.

For anyone looking for photographable COMMON EIDER, yesterday there
were two drakes right around the Stonington Fish Pier at the end of
Pearl Street. Fantastic photo ops.

Plus a LONG-EARED OWL at an undisclosed coastal location (just to let
folks know they may be around...).
