intersection

1/30/10 – Litchfield, Rt. 202, ¼ mile east of Fern Rd. – 1 RUFFED GROUSE

1/29/10 – Litchfield, White Hall Rd. (White Memorial Foundation’s Museum
Feeders) – 25 Red-winged Blackbirds, 1 Common Grackle that are
over-wintering

1/28/10 – Winchester, 121 Laurel Way (Rosgen Wildlife Sanctuary) – 2 Common
Ravens, 1 Red-breasted Nuthatch

 

During the past week, Great Horned, Barred, & N. Saw-whet Owls have been
heard calling in several places in Morris, Litchfield, Torrington, &
Winchester
