Greg Hanisek took advantage of the slow arrival of the snow to do a bit of birding. He just called to report he had a Northern Shrike in Watertown. He was on Bunker Hill Rd, a "couple of miles west" of the intersection with Rt 63. He described it as being in a development where development stopped and there are mostly empty lots on a cul-de-sac. The spot is almost within view of where last year's Northern Shrike (also found by Greg, of course) was hanging out on Sandbank Rd; Greg said he would not be surprised if the bird moved over to that spot.
