2/18 - Hamden Yard.  Our RUSTY BLACKBIRDS that have grown in number from a single bird to 20's to 50's to 70's dropped yesterday back to the 50's and today to only about 25 and even those only briefly earlier this morning.  Really a wave it seems.  We do put out a fairly large amounts of seed on the ground that seems to attract them and actually didn't see one up on a feeder.  Ground feeding seems to be the way to get them.
