3/8/2010 - Litchfield, Bissell, White Hall, White's Woods, and Webster Roads
(White Memorial Foundation) - a total of 12 American Woodcock calling and
displaying, and 5 Great Horned Owls and 1 Barred Owl hooting between 5:50
and 6:30 p.m. Most of the action could be heard from the White's Woods Rd.
bridge over the Bantam River.

3/8/2010 - Litchfield, N. Shore Rd. (White Memorial Foundation's Wheeler
Hill) - 1 pair of Red-shouldered Hawks

>From Dave Rosgen, w/ John Eykelhoff & Jim Kandefer:

3/8/2010 - Litchfield, N. Shore Rd. (Bantam Lake's Pt. Folly) - 12 American
Black Ducks, 44 Ring-necked Ducks, 3 Bufflehead, 1 Common Goldeneye, 7
Common Mergansers, 9 Hooded Mergansers

Also, 2 pairs of Eastern Bluebirds carrying nesting material into our nest
boxes in the fields along N. Shore Rd.
