3/16, Cranberry Bog/Pond, Stratford (4:00p)-

(8) Hooded Merganser

(3) Bufflehead

3/16, Roosevelt Forest, Stratford (4:05-6:00p)-

(2) Golden-crowned Kinglets

(1) Brown Creeper

(1) adult Bald eagle

(2) Red-tailed hawks

(2) Canada geese

(6) Mallards

(3) Wood ducks (in front of the rifle range, on the 'island'!!)

(45) Juncos (in one flock, east end of gasline cut for those who know)

In the flooded areas were quite easily 3-400 Wood frogs calling...most concentrated to one area. So noisy I could hear it from the other side of the forest, a good 30 minute walk through the woods away.

Robins singing, Hairy woodpeckers courting and fighting, Juncos singing.... nice to have a nice day again.
