3/26/10 - Litchfield, N. Shore Rd. (Bantam Lake's N. Bay) - Greg Hanisek's
previously-reported nice flock of Aythya ducks increased to 20 Lesser Scaup
& 15 Ring-necked Ducks, in addition to the 5 Greater Scaup, until an adult
male and immature female Bald Eagle proceeded to swoop down on them and
chase them down the length of the Lake. Also present were the adult female
and another immature female Bald Eagle, 2 Wood Ducks, 2 Gadwall, 3 American
Black Ducks, 22 Bufflehead, 1 Common Goldeneye, 2 Hooded Mergansers, 34
Common Mergansers, & 3 Pied-billed Grebes.
