Hi All,

A few signs of spring this morning including a Northern Rough-winged Swallow in with a group of Tree Swallows at 14 Acre Pond in Norwalk. Phoebes in large numbers at the same site as well as good numbers of Wood Ducks. Duck numbers down in variety and number generally but 5 Lesser Scaup at Veterans Park were a nice bonus. Apart from some DC Cormorants not much else springlike around but a singing Winter Wren at Wood's Pond was a cheery to hear. No Pine Warbler yet - I actually had one in NYC on the West Side Highway on Wednesday - they don't seem to have arrived here in numbers yet though.
