[CT Birds] 2010 CT Cumulative List, March Update

Greetings all,
As of March 31, there were 12 additions that month to the cumulative CT bird list, bringing the year's total to 180 species.  The March additions were: Trumpeter Swan, Blue-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Piping Plover, American Oystercatcher, Lesser Yellowlegs, Pectoral Sandpiper, Black-headed Gull, Northern Rough-winged Swallow, and Pine Warbler.  In addition, two forms were also new:  Eurasian Green-winged (Common) Teal (a subspecies) and a dark western morph of Red-Tailed Hawk.
