[CT Birds] Check those Ponds, Reservoir for possible PHALAROPES

I thought i'd pass this along with permission
from Hugh McGuinness

Hugh McGuinness of East Hampton NY discovered a basic plumage RED  
PHALAROPE At about 4:15 this afternoon. In NY. He found  it at the  
south end of Sagaponack Pond (Suffolk Co.).

The bird was best viewed from the pond entrance along Sagg Main Street  
just before the  beach. The bird was at  40°54'39.20"N,  72°17'8.46"W.

No photo. John Shemilt tried but couldn't get one. The conditions were  
miserable this afternoon with a driving rain and a NW wind.

So It pays to keep an I out around as you never know what you might
