[CT Birds] usual white throat ?

Sun. 4/18 , 9:00 a.m. under feeder, saw a bird I believe was a white-throated sparrow.  Top half of the bird was all white except for yellow spots on either side of the upper mandible.  The bottom half was brown; legs pink.  I know this was not an albino bird, I've forgotten the term for a bird that has lost color on some of its feathers.  Can someone remind me, all I can recall is that it starts with an "l".  Thanks.  Freyda Rose, Clinton
