[CT Birds] Cockaponset St Forest migrants and breeders

Cockaponset State Forest from Cedar Swamp Rd in Chester - most sightings in an area that was harvested about 10 years ago, leaving seed trees. This area is now thick with saplings, mostly birches and maples.  Short walk ~9-10:30 AM

Wild Turkey - along dirt road
White-eyed vireo
Blue jays
American crow

Wood thrush 
Gray catbird 
Tufted titmice
B C chickadees

Yellow-rumped warbler
Blue-winged warber - many
Prairie warbler
Black & White warbler
Hooded warbler  - in a smaller selective cut near parking area
Common yellowthroat
buzzy-song warbler that I didn't recognize - bird very very furtive in saplings

Scarlet tanager
Eastern towhee - many
White-throated sparrows -  2 drinking at puddle in dirt road
Northern cardinal
