The burst of migrating warblers reported by Alex Burdo yesterday seems to
have moved on today. We banded a BLACK & WHITE, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and a
NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH. Other warblers were heard; NORTHERN PARULA and
BLACKPOLL and James Randall reported hearing a WILSON'S. Other birds banded
were NORTHERN CARDINAL and GRAY CATBIRDS who are now returning in droves.
Among non-warblers heard or seen were WOOD THRUSH, MOURNING DOVE, BALTIMORE
ORIOLE, CEDAR WAXWINGS, HOUSE WREN, STARLINGS, GRACKLES AND ROBINS.
