[CT Birds] Bobolinks aplenty

If anyone is looking for a "Bobolink fix," there is a good quick one at the
Rocky Hill/Wethersfield Meadows. The Land Trust there is working with the
farmers to leave unmown fields for them. Undeterred by the model airplanes
and dirt bikes, the Boblinks are easily viewed popping up and down or
clutching on to their sentry posts atop the tall grass.

"The hummingbird in flight is a water-spark, an incandescent drop of
American fire, the jungle's flaming re'sume', a heavenly, precise rainbow:
the hummingbird is an arc, a golden thread, a green bonfire!"
--from Ode to the Hummingbird
 by Pablo Neruda
