Here are a few bird sighting's from the past week...

The Hartford PEREGRINE FALCONS have four hatchlings, you can view them here @

I saw one PEREGRINE FALCON flying over the streets of Hartford yesterday afternoon.

Two EASTERN MEADOWLARKS were seen bringing food to a nest site at Samuel Wheeler Reed Park in Bloomfield.

An AMERICAN KESTREL was spotted sitting next to a new nest box off of Vibert Road in South Windsor.

A second-year BALD EAGLE was observed dining on Mallard ducklings at the Wethersfield Cove. An OSPREY has also made the cove a regular feeding stop, maybe a nest nearby?

3 SEMIPALMATED PLOVER were at the cove one morning when the tides were low.
