[CT Birds] Thrush ID

I would say a Hermit Thrush.  You can see a light eye ring and the tail is reddish.  Was the bird flicking it's tail?

Anyone got an idea what this bird is?  Obviously not a  Wood Thrush, and 
did not appear to be a Hermit thrush.  The markings on the  breast extended 
only a short way down, and appeared to be as much horizontal  jagged stripes 
as spots.  Almost resembled necklaces.  The individual  spots were not round, 
but uneven shaped, almost rectangular in some  cases.
