6/30 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center  10:30AM-1PM
sunny, 70s, low tide rising.
At 10:30AM  the 4 osprey chicks were being fed a fish by the  female.  One 
of the chicks has started to eat on its own, as well as  flapping its wings 
alot.
At 11AM, 2 "rogue" ospreys were circling the nest and the female was  
calling quite a bit at them.  The rest of the morning, the 4 chicks were  resting 
& preening on the nest.  Male & female ospreys were  relaxing on their 
perch.
Far out on the marsh were 6 D.C. Cormorants, several Great egrets, snowy  
egrets and  mute swans.  On the grounds were house sparrows, Red  winged 
blackbirds, mourning doves, starlings, common grackles, 2 Juvenile  cardinals 
and 3 fly over Purple Martins.
