[CT Birds] kingfisher

There's a wetland area at the southern end of Beaver Meadow Road in Haddam...maybe north of Woods Road. I work in Haddam but don't have time to park for long but this place looks like a fine place for a Kingfisher or two. This pond/swampy area is on the east side of the road.

Also in Haddam go way out on Candlewood Hill Road toward Durham. Pass Foot Hills Road/Little City Road intersection and another big pond/swamp opens up on the left. Hit that spot, too.

?
Thanks,
