7/28  10AM-1PM  Milford,  80-85,  cloudy, low tide  rising
Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center
observed through windows facing marsh
The juvenile ospreys are all flying around, along with a few strays from  
the area.  One juvenile osprey spent over an hour on the nest, eating a  fish.
Also seen were one Juvenile Yellow crowned night heron on the marsh  edge, 
gobbling up the crabs and then it went into the water and sat in  there 
looking like a duck floating and then it flew off;  one
Spotted sandpiper tail bobbing, making its way through the marsh &  reeds, 
5 snow egrets, a mute swan,
red winged blackbirds, house sparrows, song sparrows, house finches,  
mourning doves, grackles , mockingbird, starlings, catbird, carolina wren, barn  
swallow, cardinal.
