Jayne is too busy caring for her wards to post so she has asked me to post a note asking for info on active Chimney Swift roosts. She will be releasing a number of Swifts over the coming days and the roosts in her area have emptied with the passing of recent cold fronts. It is important for the released birds to be able to join active roosts before migrating. If you know of any currently active roosts in Connecticut as close as possible to Southington (birds seen around roosts yesterday or today) please contact her at Jayne.amico at cox.net<mailto:Jayne.amico at cox.net> or at (860) 276-8433. Thanks.
