[CT Birds] Sandy Pt high tide

Mid-afternoon, just after a flooding high tide, there were many
shorebirds roosting at Sandy Pt visible from Sandy Pt itself (as
opposed to Morse Point, where the tern colony is). Shorebird, gull and
tern numbers:

35 Black-bellied Plover
75 Semipalmated Plover (one juv)
2 American Oystercatcher
WHIMBREL (adult)
13 Ruddy Turnstone
20 Sanderling
700 Semipalmated Sandpipers (~8% juv)
2 Least Sandpiper (one juv, one unaged flyby)
3 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS
4 Laughing Gulls (one juv)
15 Ring-billed Gulls (one juv)
3 Great Black-backed Gulls (2 juv)
8 Herring Gulls (2 juv)
25 Common Tern
