[CT Birds] White Mts

Closer to home, I had an adult Peregrine soaring and calling, directly over the head of the Sleeping Giant (Hamden) yesterday.
Everyone I was with were more interested in avoiding falling oof the Blue Trail into the old basalt quarry.

I was also hiking the Whites this past week. Got to see a Peregrine power diving from the top of Middle Sugarloaf. What a sight! My hiking buddies were more interested in their lunch than this awesome bird.
