>From Jamie Meyers:
Wallingford, Mackenzie Reservoir -- STILT SANDPIPER continued, as of 9 AM or so. Not nearly as many shorebirds, perhaps due to the presence of a scraggly looking MERLIN.
Madison, Horse Pond -- imm. LITTLE BLUE HERON continued along with 6 SOLITARY SANDPIPERS and a BLUE-WINGED TEAL.
Shelton, Trap Falls Reservoir -- 8 species of shorebirds around 4:30 PM in a chilly wind including a PECTORAL SANDPIPER and a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER (good one away from the shore). Most of the shorebirds were in the northernmost part of the reservoir.
Kiss summer goodbye, it was not warm out there at all!
