Southport Survey # 239

The tide was low and the water calm. Sky was clear with little wind.
Off shore there were a scattering of Laughing Gulls, while the
Common Terns were working the waters around sunken Island. Then there
was the Common Loon bringing us one step closer to winter. The
Oystercatchers and Sanderling were on Sunken Island while the
Killeddr were on the flats of Southport Harbor. The Mallards and
Black Ducks were feeding in the mouth of Sasco Creek.
