[CT Birds] Bakersville swamp area

 I had my first juncos of the season today right in front of Roaring Brook Nature Center's front door. Summer really is over.

Went to Bakersville swamp this morn, and again the swamp was dead cept for Swamp 

Sparrows. In the field going north past swamp I had:

20 Purple finch
2 Lincoln's Sparrow
6 White T - Sparrow
1 Yellow rump Warbler - only warbler all morning!
and loads of Waxwing flying about.

Stub Hollow rd-
Along this wooded rd saw:

3 Towhee
more Purple Finch
1 Red-b-Nuthatch
2 Ruby c Kinglet
1 Lincoln's Sparrow
2 Whit-t-sparrow
and all Woodpecker ceptRedhead.
Downy
Hairy
YB Sapsucker
Flicker
Red-bellied
Pileated

Also enjoyed the quiet sunlit morning and all the beautiful
 New England Aster in full bloom, esp the dark purple ones.
