10/03 - Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, 2 BROWN CREEPERS,

A beautiful morning to be out, though strong NE winds may have kept birds low.
51 species sighted, including above mentioned plus....

Spotted Sandpiper
Great Egrets
Snowy Egrets - 3
Black-crowned Night Herons - 2
Great Blue Herons - 2
Laughing Gulls - about 2 dozen
Eastern Phoebe - at least 2 dozen
Blue-headed Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Black-th. Blue Warbler
Black & white Warbler
Common Yellowthroats
Blackpoll Warblers - several, hard to count as they moved constantly.
White-throated Sparrows - all immatures
Song Sparrow - 3
Swamp Sparrow
Dark-eyed Juncos - about 6
Eastern Towhee
Osprey - 3
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Broad-winged Hawk
