 Hi All,

A promising start to the day with 8 species of warbler including good looks at a late Tennessee (first fall female) and an Orange-crowned (still getting used to the idea that these now aren't vermivora but oreothlypis - and how does one pronounce that name anyhow?). Hundreds of Purple Finches and many Yellow-belilied Sapsuckers. 1 Lincoln's Sparrow and 1 FOS Hermit Thrush. A reliable report of a late empidonax flycatcher that showed too briefly to be identified to species and couldn't be relocated - was this the big one that got away perhaps? Also for those interested in latish dates I had a Veery whispering its song yesterday in the back yard.
