Hi Amy -

I bet these birds ARE bathing! I have seen many species using the dew on foliage to "wash-up."

Cheers,

Andy

Subject: [CT Birds] yellow-rumped warbler behavior

I have yellow-rumped warblers on my back deck rummaging through my annuals
in flower boxes. They seem almost frenzied, like they're bathing in the
flowers, though they appear also to be eating. They do seem to be enjoying
themselves. Has anyone seen this kind of behavior?
