 Hi All,

A good day at Allen's Meadows provided us with a clean sweep of all the regularly occurring sparrow species including a few Lincoln's, White-crowned and 1 Vesper Sparrow. As well as the sparrows we had nice looks at a few Pine Siskins, Purple Finches, 4 Eastern Meadowlarks (singing even), 1 Orange-crowned Warbler, Winter Wren, RB Nut and a few overhead American Pipits. Nothing spectacularly rare but a nice representative mix of 'uncommon' species. Thanks to all who came and to Joe Bear and Catherine Hamilton for sharing in the leadership duties on the trip.

Luke Tiller, Greenwich
