The pond is starting to fill, but still is low. Many box turtles sunning, althought the wind was picking up. Waiting for the ducks to return, meanwhile the mallards are well ensconced. Most notable was a small group of Rusty Blackbird at the southern edge of the main pond, but lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers still in the brush and low trees, and Palm Warblers rooting around in the leaf litter.
American Black Duck 2, Mallard 24, Great Blue Heron 1, Turkey Vulture 6, Red-tailed Hawk 1, Mourning Dove 4, Downy Woodpecker 1, Eastern Pheobe 1, Blue Jay 7, American Crow 3, Black-capped Chickadee 8, Tufted Titmouse 2, Swainson's Thrush 3, American Robin 2, Gray Catbird 4, Yellow-rumped Warbler 9, Palm Warbler 2, Chipping Sparrow 3, Song Sparrow 2, White-throated Sparrow 8, Rusty Blackbird 8. American Goldfinch4.
