11/10/10 - Litchfield/Morris, N. Shore Rd. (Bantam Lake's Pt. Folly, 10:30
a.m. 'til noon) - 1 EARED GREBE right in front of the observation platform,
1 RED-NECKED GREBE in bay southwest of the Point; Also, 2 Wood Ducks, 1
Bufflehead, 2 Common Goldeneyes, 17 Common Mergansers, 6 Hooded Mergansers,
38 Ruddy Ducks, 1 Double-crested Cormorant, 30 American Coots, 3 Belted
Kingfishers

(Bantam Lake's N. Bay as viewed from the Litchfield Town Beach, 12 - 12:30
p.m.) - 1 immature GOLDEN EAGLE circling overhead being harassed by a Common
Raven and affording excellent looks for everyone for 20 minutes until it
flew southeast out of sight; Also, 3 Buffleheads, 10 Common Goldeneyes, 18
Common Mergansers, 22 Ruddy Ducks, 4 Pied-billed Grebes, 1 Double-crested
Cormorant
