2/12 Essex/Lyme Ct River.
A single Tundra swan mixed with Common Mergansers and Canada Geese on the river in Essex north of North Cove. Also 15 Bald Eagles (9 adults, 6 sub-adults) plus the usual suspects. All birds seen from CT River Museum's EagleWatch riverboat tours with Project Oceanology.
For those looking for Bald  Eagle action a lot of activity in the Hamburg Cove/ Joshua Rock area. As many as 8 eagles at a time flying around the Rock cliff and interacting in courtship/territorial behaviors.
