I was in West Hartland yesterday with Tom Baptist and Scott Heth doing a survey private property. The most abundant singer in the woods was Blackburnian Warbler, which was pretty interesting for this flatlander. The other really interesting find was a female Nashville Warbler, one of the more uncommon nesting birds in CT. Also a Dark-eyed Junco.

Also, on June 20th, while surveying American Oystercatchers on islands in SE CT with Michael Brooks and Andrew MacLachlan, there was a hen Common Eider at Lyddy Island in Stonington.
