7/26 Access Rd. Pool, opposite R.E. Michel Co. - adult STILT SANDPIPER was
still present with a variety of common shorebirds at 5:20pm. Water levels were
great for shorbs; but heavy rains tonight will likely refill the pool, making
the water too deep for most waders.
Short Beach Park (Dorne Drive) - 1 adult ROSEATE TERN among about 400 Common and
100 Least Terns, actively fishing in the river mouth. Also a male GREATER SCAUP
resting on a sandbar (it was also here yesterday).
