We have spotted Black Crowned Night Herons, as well as a pair of Yellow
Crowned Night Herons ( a nest and one young, as well) in Groton Long Point,
CT. They were hanging out at a vernal pool there. The pool is nearly dry
now...and no sign of the herons lately.
