9/4 - Tim Antanaitis called me to say that he was at Strong Rd around 5:15 pm and there were several dosen shorebirds in the right field at the end of the road by the drying barn. Jay's prediction came true. There were western sandpipers, white-rumped, ruddy turnstone, pectoral, least, Baird's, semipalmated and others. No cattle egret, but with RH meadows under water, a good place to keep watch for shorebirds.
