[CT Birds] Madison East River birds

09/11/11: Madison/Guilford East River Marsh:  a two-hour paddle along the
river yielded a number of interesting sightings, with the most notable
being: one TRICOLORED HERON, and two PECTORAL SANDPIPERS.  There were more
than 100 Laughing Gulls in the marsh, an unusually high number.  Other birds
seen were: Great and Snowy Egrets, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Spotted
Sandpiper, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and Short-billed Dowitcher.
