Scott Roxbrough asked me to post this for him. He had 3,800-5,000 Broad-winged Hawks today from the East River Preserve in Guilford.

Some of you may remember this site as the former Goss Property, which was proposed as a housing development, but is now permanently protected as a Guilford Town Park (see NGOs do more than just employ biologists).

This park can be accessed off of Clapboard Hill Road or Sullivan Drive in Guilford. Stop by Audubon's nearby Connover Nature Trail at The Guilford Salt Meadows Sanctuary if you're in the area.
